| Desktop TV (DTV) bought to you by Olympus Pacific Futuretech has developed DTV with Olympus Pacific, to deliver a completely integrated, real-time, investor collaboration system to host meetings and share vital company information, across a simulated meeting interface. It could be said that it combines the best of Facebook, WebEx, Skype, LinkedIn and Outlook in one application. | ![]() |
Imagine being able to address thousands of people, in an AGM or investor address from your office? With its simple user interface, you can view all meeting participants on your screen. You can click on their profiles too, to discover more about their roles and professional details.
The Olympus DTV application organises speakers into a visual queue, according to the preloaded meeting agenda, so you don’t have to think! A ‘moderator’ is also pre-nominated to steer proceedings and field questions via your nominated communication medium – text, audio or video.
The application is supported by the best content delivery network, ensuring the meeting always runs seamlessly across time zones and for participants in numerous global locations.
DTV Servers operate a robust data storage centre, which archives all company data and meeting documents. You can reference these at any time by simply going to the meeting in the Olympus DTV timeline and downloading the associated files
The entire live event or meeting is also stored for ‘playback’ to view at your convenience. This feature also serves as an audit tool, to meet with company compliance and reporting.
DTV presents a corporate, yet personalised networking approach, which combined with Skype style messaging and Facebook style profiling and identification, enables a user to save and build upon their meeting profiles and session data. You can create your own ‘Meeting Pod’ for regular meetings, and keep in touch with participants to discuss issues after the meeting.
Along with many other features DTV includes video and audio conferencing and messaging. The next release of DTV will feature real time polling and voting.
DTV’s most unique feature however is its ability to create an automated and procedural framework to meet the formal standards that are required for any AGM and Investor wide address.
DTV’s formal functionality, coupled with its personalised Skype style messaging makes it formidable yet friendly. A perfect combination for any investor based organisation!
